I’m a Minnesota born and raised girl who lives in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities with my hubby Nate, and my pup, Bugsy Mcgee.
Since I live in Minnesota, the majority of my travels are in the Midwest, and I love nothing more than surprising people with all that we have to offer here. You’ll find itineraries and guides to picturesque towns and hidden gems like wineries and waterfalls. My hope is to bring awareness to how beautiful it can be to travel in the Midwest and help you plan your travels here.
I started this travel blog because I spend all my free time planning future travel and going on day trips, or vacations as much as my wallet and work life will allow. Therefore, I wanted a place to share my experiences, the tips I’ve learned over the years, and hopefully help future travelers make memories of their own.
Traveling can sometimes be a scary thing, but it can also be the thing that transforms your life… Getting out of your routine and doing something you’ve never done before, fills you with an appreciation for living.
Even if it’s a mile down the road from your house and you finally decide to stop in that mom & pop store, or visit that cute coffee place… I promise, just doing these things will fill your soul, and satisfy your wanderlust!

While I’ve learned a fair amount on my travels so far, the beautiful thing about travel is there is so much to see! I still have so much more to learn, and lots more places to check off on my bucket list.
